Adding a shift light to the Rev Counter
The engine in the 107 is quite lively and is very easy to rev hard when accelerating hard or overtaking

Exploded view

Circuit added to detect pulses from ECU and add shift light function

The light is a miniature LED from a mobile phone positioned in the very centre of the counter shining through a 1mm hole which makes it very discrete. Adjustment is from the rear with a small trimmer.

If anyone is interested he should be able to sell them as a kit, pre-assembled - but you will need to be pretty competent with a drill and soldering iron - as well as capable of taking the dash apart. The mod will be completely safe and removable, the only damage will be the hole for the LED and hole for the adjustment knob.

For those daunted by the prospect but still interested in adding the functionality - he could modify rev counters and send them back...
