Toyota's newest concept, the iQ. The 298 cm practically shares every dimension with its big brother the Yaris, except length, and comes equipped with all sorts of innovative packaging. Normally a two-seater, a third seat can also be flipped up for a small adult or child in the back. The iQ will have its engine mounted up front, powering the front wheels. It's planned to go on sale in Europe in 2009.

I posted the Concours Design final 20 and final 10 a while ago.
Here is the winner of the Peugeot Concours Design

It's versatility combined with it's sportiness and the ability to use it in different environments are in my opinion some of the vehicle's strong points.

It's dynamic shape and open air cockpit make it lively and fun to drive as the occupants are always in contact with their surroundings.

The shape also represents this flow with transitions through hard and smooth lines, between straight and curved all of which are characteristics of Peugeot.
A relatively small car (3500cm long by 1650cm wide), it runs on a slim hydrogen power plant hidden in the back along with the tank mounted under the front bonnet.
The hood and side body panels are made from plastic, polyurethane for the seats and aluminium for the mechanical parts.

Made up of simple body work (basic intersected volumes) the car is easily produced and accessible to everyone but most of all, it's fun to drive.
2nd (my favorite) and third place
Some time ago I posted an article about the Peugeot Concours Design 20 finalists. Here are the final 10.
Toyota is planning an ultra-low cost vehicle for sale in emerging markets. This car will probably cost somewhere between $6000 to $7000 and position it under the Aygo.
Disguised examples of the stylish newcomer have already been spotted testing in Japan, but insiders have revealed the production car will closely follow the look of the show model. Its stubby profile and smooth surfaces will give the Endo a futuristic appearance - and help it become a more upmarket alternative to the Aygo.

Unusual features include a wrap-around windscreen, vertical tailgate and two-tone bodywork. Toyota's designers drew inspiration from the Smart and the quirky Peugeot 1007 when devising the Endo, but say their car's novel styling eliminates the compromises these two models require. For example, clever wide-opening doors improve access to the cabin without resorting to the heavy and expensive sliding units that mark out the 1007.
And once inside, there will be room for up to four passengers, unlike the two-seat-only ForTwo. However, while the show car had advanced features such as a flat screen dashboard, the roadgoing model is set to follow a more conventional approach in order to keep costs down. The Endo is expected to hit dealers in 2007.

You might have seen this already because this car has been around for some time.
Never the less I think it's pretty cool. This is the car where I got the idea from to get black alloy wheels.
The back of the car comes out and can be used as a DJ setup.
Enough speakers built in the back doors.
